His responsibilities include overseeing financial stewardship, supporting continuing medical education (CME) programs,
and representing the society in advocacy efforts at the state and national levels.
Dr. Chen will also act as a key liaison between NCFAS members, corporate partners, and national organizations such as the
American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), helping to strengthen the voice of podiatric physicians in North Carolina.
A Continued Tradition of Leadership
Dr. Chen’s appointment continues a longstanding tradition of leadership from
Family Foot and Ankle Physicians within the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society.

Family Foot and Ankle Physicians congratulates Dr. Chen on this achievement and looks forward to the
positive impact his leadership will have on podiatric medicine and patient care throughout North Carolina.
