Plantar warts are those warts located on the bottom of the feet. Plantar warts are hard and flat, having a rough surface and defined boundaries and typically gray in color. They are usually raised or fleshier when on the top of the foot or toe. Removal of warts by a simple surgical procedure, performed under local anesthetic is a typical treatment option.
